Member Meeting at AtkinsRéalis, 14 Mar 24

UKNEST members recently met at AtkinsRéalis in Bristol for our 55th Member Meeting and AGM. The forum reviewed the broad range of recent activities and achievements of both UKNEST and FutureNEST, and gained an insight into the diverse range of sectors that AtkinsRéalis operates within. Members toured the ‘Lava Lab’, a unique facility that enables virtual site visits and visualisation of 3D modelling, and received briefs on some impressive and intriguing projects run by AtkinsRéalis, such as their geospatial surveying capabilities using drone technology and research into product carbon footprint within the naval sector.

We also welcomed our new UKNEST Scholar cohort, 10 students from UK universities who are studying a range of science and engineering-based degrees. The students actively engaged and networked with UKNEST member representatives whilst providing fresh perspective in discussions.
